Focus Products Group, LLC. is a leading supplier of consumer and professional housewares products to the retail sector markets in North America. When Focus Products Group came to our team at Beyond Design, their primary goal was to design a new line of wine tools to their line called Vinturi, adding value and an aesthetic appeal to small kitchen houseware items. The design has to be unique, but simple and easy to use when opening up a bottle of wine. Vinturi Wine Tools marks their first line of openers for them available in the retail market.

Providing Quality Designs

For this project, we had learned that Focus Products Group just acquired Vinturi and wanted to develop a line of wine tools. Vinturi is known for their wine aerators and Focus Products wanted to branch out and provide consumers with a reliable product. We immediately understood the concept of what Focus Products Group wanted to accomplish, designing their vision of how the wine tools should show reliability, along with a robust look. Our team provided multiple designs for them to choose from, ultimately formulating an entire product line. Our development team was able to combine form and function that provides wine drinkers with a easy and fast way to pop open those corks and enjoy a glass of wine, or two.

Features & Functionality

Vinturi Wine Tools have been designed to allow users to open up wine bottles, for on the go or at home. The easy to use motions, depending on which wine opener a user chooses provides a sleek, classy look, along with simple functionality. With just a few simple motions, a wine bottle can be opened in just a matter of seconds. The hand control is convenient, so there’s no slipping or having the bottle move around. The chrome plated cast metals give these wine tools an aesthetically pleasing design, making them fit into any style of kitchen decor. Moreover, our team developed a way for the design to match an already existing product that Focus Products Group wanted to touch on.

With just a preliminary idea at hand, we provided and fulfilled the vision that Focus Products Group had for what they wanted to bring to the Vinturi collection.
