Our team is constantly looking for ways to better our clients’ brand and bring new ideas to market. Our goal was to share the value of new battery cell technology and the need for it to be commercialized in the consumer appliance industry.

Finding ways to unite two markets through the use of new technology.

In this instance, we were focused on a relatively new start-up company, AllCell Technologies, who designs and builds cutting-edge lithium-ion battery packs for transportation and renewable energy applications. We saw an opportunity for them to gain entry into the consumer market by teaming up with small appliance manufacturers and using their battery technology to create a more reliable, better performing, and portable application in a product line – such as blenders.

We specifically focused on a hi-performance professional blender because we knew the target price point would be higher and wanted to compete with the professional blending companies, such as Vitamix or BlendTec. Our solution is a blender that is not restricted to a cable and which you can take outdoors, allowing the host to be more interactive with the guests when necessary.

Through research, storyboards, mock-ups, and color studies, we were able to create a design that is intuitive, functional, and appealing to both men and women.
