A New Bond Through Play

Sean’s life was changed after he adopted his dog, Pepper. As many pet lovers can relate, having a pet by your side makes life more positive and energetic.

Sean and Pepper always play together, but Sean noticed that most toys on the market are strictly for dogs or humans. Pet owners needed a product to bring the person and the dog together through play. To have fun and stay fit, Sean invented the PupFit: an athletic product that helps pets and owners play, exercise, walk, and snack together.

Innovative Design and Features

The PupFit lets you and your dog play tug of war while you complete various arm, leg, and core exercises. Beyond Design developed the industrial design, engineering, Visual Brand Language (VBL), and logo for the PupFit and accessories. The ergonomic and tough grips attach to PupFit leashes, bungee cords, and accessories—perfect for cooperative adventures and workouts. The leash and bungee ropes have an easy-lock system to keep you and your dog in sync. There are even multi-tug options so you and more friends (human or canine) can join the action.

The PupFit’s design is interesting because the product is a hybrid between a pet accessory and a piece of exercise equipment; the aesthetics needed to convey a sporty yet playful design. The bone-shaped grips and human handles were designed with a rugged finish to stay securely grasped. The bone accessory was also intentionally shaped with cavities to form and store tasty treats. Because Sean and PupFit care about you and your pet’s well-being, all PupFit products come with delicious and healthy recipes. One recipe includes homemade wellness shots for you and another uses the byproducts from the wellness shots to create PupDough treats for your dog. Yum!
