Developing a Unique Brand Identity for Nature Photography to Support Charitable Causes.
From Scalpel To Shutter
Jerry Wishner, a former surgeon turned photographer, needed a signature logo and Visual Brand Language to support his non-profit photography. Jerry takes captivating photos of nature, and when he saw the interest in buying his prints, he decided to donate the proceeds to charity.
The money raised from his photos directly supports Beyond the Epicenter, a charity that helps Nepal recover from 2015’s devastating earthquake. So far, the charity has opened 12 new schools and created safe classrooms for more than 2400 children.
A Flight of Design Creativity
Jerry asked Beyond Design to create a custom-tailored logo and business card for his photography. His photography adventures are bold and captivating, so Beyond Design was the natural designer partner to create dynamic visuals.
Beyond Design ideated around different design concepts to capture the perfect fit for Jerry and his new brand. The final logo design was inspired by both an eagle eye and a camera shutter because the first animal Jerry captured was an eagle.
