A Refreshing Spin on Design

A new cup with a custom straw that encourages stirring.

An Advertising Specialty Incentive (ASI) distributor approached Beyond Design to create a unique 24-oz drink tumbler that’s perfect for promoting brand labels. The cup had to stand out while being eye-catching and innovative.

Our designers thought of adding a fun twist to the tumbler design in the most literal way. The custom straw was designed with a finned bottom that acted like a propeller to help stir and mix drinks. Designers leaned into this principle and included a novelty swirl on the cup’s lid to help grab people’s attention. The sides of the cup were also given a customized texture inspired by waves in motion to look appealing while providing a comfortable grip for users. The tumbler was perfect for mixing drinks and was made seal-tight and spill proof to avoid leaking.

The tumbler design had to be so attractive that people would notice the advertised brand logo on the cup. The design intentionally left plenty of space on the side to promote a large and noticeable logo for advertising purposes. This way, it becomes a canvas for companies looking to create memorable promotional products in a functional design.
