Wexler Launches Flex ONE as First Flexible E-reader

Having been in the product design industry for more than 12 years, I am always fancied about designing a product with an innovative flexible display to enhance the user’s portability. I recently came across Wexler’s Flex ONE, and while it doesn’t have the exact technology that I was hoping for, it tells me that they are getting closer. The Electronic Paper Display (EPD) technology was developed by LG and Wexler is the first to launch a flexible e-reader based on this technology. It is pretty impressive and the product comes in a range of color options.
I hope LG, or other display manufacturers, continuously improve upon the flexible technology and deliver the ultimate, remarkably thin and light, flexible display in the near future. You can read more about the product here.
