Fab.com, a New York–based startup, is a member-only site that showcases a catalog of unique product designs. Users are able to purchase daily design deals on the site. Most recently, an inspiration wall was launched that allows users to share pictures of design inspirations. It allows users to follow other members and their design tastes.
“We don’t take ourselves too seriously but we will walk away from generic products,” ” says Shellhammer, 35, who greenlights every single Fab.com deal. “Everything on our site has a story, whether it’s about function, form, material or the history of the designers themselves.
