This past weekend was the annual Ravenswood Artwalk where over 200 artists showcased their work at various businesses along the corridor. We opened our doors to the public and had six artists feature their work in our studio.
The artists included Mimi Clayton Photography, Laura Matzen, Diane Ponder, StudioChris, Mark Yee, and The Convergence Project, Inc. While not an “official” artist at the artwalk, Zoe Prince, Michael Prince’s 11-year-old daughter, also featured some of her artwork. The artists presented everything from paintings and photography to jewelry and clothing. It was a great event that brought a large number of people to the Ravenswood Corridor.
“It is our mission to generate community investment in the artistic, industrial and historic importance of Ravenswood and to raise awareness for the unique hub of creative practices that exists here.”
