Product Design Going (RED), Joining the Fight Against AIDS

Today is World AIDS Day — a day dedicated for people around the world to unite in spreading awareness about the disease and to contribute towards education and finding a cure. Over the past few years, we have noticed more and more companies joining the effort to fight AIDS by offering their products in a shade of red. The (RED) campaign encourages partners to create custom red editions of their products and donate portions of sales to projects aimed at creating an AIDS-free generation by 2015.

The companies who have joined the fight include, but are not limited to, Apple, Nike, Beats by Dre, Dell, Starbucks, and American Express. You can see all of the companies involved here.
