Segways are Coming Back to the Market
Over the past several months, Segway has released that it is coming out with the “miniPRO” – the signature segway with a few changes. The self-balancing technology device offers more than the regular segway that those have fallen in love with when first released.
Instead of a pair of solid rubber wheels for traveling, the miniPRO has a pair of inflatable, 10.5 inch tires, which could potentially change the feel of the ride depending on the user. Along with the new set of tires, there is a stem that sticks up from the middle – called a Knee Control Bar. It is designed to fit comfortably between your knees, giving the rider more stability and control while traveling down the street or sidewalk.
The other cool and new introduction to the miniPRO is that it can be controlled via a free app on a smartphone. On a single charge, a rider can go up to 14 miles with a speed of up to 10 miles per hour. Safety features are always important which was designed to include headlights, backup lights and a battery indicator.
Nobody wants their segway to get stolen, as the app-based anti-theft technology will be launched via a loud alarm if someone tries to steal your segway.
