Porsche is Throwing It Back Old School
Our designers and engineers here at Beyond Design have a fancy for automobiles, especially ones that will go fast. Porsche, a German automobile manufacturer, that specializes in high-performance sports cars, SUV’s and sedans just released their new 911 R that combines the vintage feel with the performance and amenities of a modern machine. They have joined the old-school charm with the modern motoring essentials that we all have come to love and expect in our cars.
A throwback to the 1967 911 R, the white paint schemes, manual gearbox and houndstooth cloth seating is still there. However, the retro flare car includes a six-speed manual transmission that sends power to the rear wheels – making it go from 0-60 in 3.7 seconds. This makes the Porsche 911 R one of the most ferocious high-luxury cars on the market today.
