Murals Featured at Lane Tech High School
As a parent of two CPS students, Michael Prince – President of Beyond Design, is happy to serve on the 2nd Century Foundation Board. Once a month, members of the board come together to discuss topics and interests that would be beneficial to the student population at Lane Tech High School.
Last week, murals around the school were donated by Dita and Tom Merkel, parents on the board. Once a year, a chosen senior will be allowed to paint their own mural to use for their portfolio.

This student was so proud of his work, and pointed at himself in the mural. As educators, we love teaching students and allowing them to have the opportunity to fulfill their dreams.
