Miveu turns your iPhone into an Impressive POV Camera

Today, more and more people are capturing images and video with their smartphones as opposed to digital cameras or camcorders. The Miveu, which we mentioned in a post about CES last month, utilizes this aspect of consumer behavior and provides a less expensive alternative to the typical action camera.

The Miveu is a wearable POV camera and outdoor activity sports case for the iPhone 4, 4S, and 5 (they recently launched one to fit point-and-shoots, too). It is constructed with high-impact resistant materials to withstand rough conditions. You simply snap your iPhone into the case, strap it on, and you’re good to go. The chest mount allows a more natural, yet dynamic, perspective than mounting the camera to a helmet or arm. The design also gives easy access for interacting with your iPhone and incorporates an adjustable ball joint that lets you aim the lens up, down, left, or right.

The Miveu gives you the ability to edit and review video on the spot right after you shoot, as well as upload your video to social media networks instantly. You may not have as high quality video as more expensive POV cameras, but the Miveu is definitely convenient and a lot less expensive (only $79!). You can read more about it here.
