Lane Tech College Prep takes on the dig program!

September 9, 2013

As one of the oldest and most prestigious educational institutions in Chicago, we couldn’t be more thrilled that the dig program will be taught at Lane Tech starting this December. The program will be scaled up a bit from the dig-8 program that is taught at Nettelhorst School, however, the concept will remain the same.

The class, Drafting-Technology, is made up of sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have chosen this class as an elective. The five-week dig program within the class will teach the students about product development and allow them to design a product of their own. As the first dig program at the high school level, we are excited to see how the students react and how their thought-process and skills may be different than that of the 8th graders we taught in dig-8.
