Instax SP-2 Allows Digital Printing on Instant Film
Pocket printers are nothing new, but ones that printed digital photos onto instant film is new. Fujifilm, a Japanese multinational photography and imaging company, introduced the Instax Share SP-2 – which is the second generation of the Instax printer. With multiple improvements, the printer was designed to have a sharper look, print faster and is much quieter while printing than the previous generation.
While still printing on the mini format instant film, it includes new filters and templates which go beyond the standard frame photo. Along with that, a free share app can be connected to your smartphone or tablet to the printer. A new collage mode will let users print two photos side by side or four photos in one print. With the Instax, a rechargeable battery charges via micro USB.
There’s also a “real-time” template that allows users to include info like time, date, place, weather and temperature. Kind of interesting!
