IDSA Celebrates with Beyond
We teamed up with IDSA Chicago and Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) for IDSA-Chi’s annual holiday party last week to celebrate a year of innovation, design, and accomplishments. As members of IDSA, we were thrilled to have the party in our Ravenswood studio and were able to connect with our design community and our friends in the plastics industry. Engineers honed their skills in the gingerbread building station and the studio was buzzing with excitement for what’s to come in 2019.

Women in Design
We also hosted the IDSA Women in Design Holiday Party this week that our own Industrial Designer + Design Strategist, McKayla Barber, is the lead chair member of. The event was the second of the season connecting female designers in the city. The first being a networking event at Revolution Brewery. The holiday party this week was also a white elephant exchange and a great way to end the year and grow the Chicago network of female designers into 2019.
Women in Design is gender inclusive and welcomes anyone, male or female, designer or not, that wants to see more female representation in the field.
