Highlights from Day One at CES

January 11, 2012

Day one at CES proved to be a success! We were able to check out a number of cool products, and are looking forward to seeing even more over the next two days. Below are some photos we took of some highlights from day one.

We’ve seen a ton of multi-colored headphones. The ones below are from Nixon and Urbanears.

A huge trend right now is AirPlay speakers. They work with a Bluetooth and connect to your Smartphone. The ones below are the TPS portable stereo speaker system from Nixon—beautiful design.

One of the products Altec Lansing is showcasing is its LIVE Wi-Fi Music System. All your music is instantly accessed through an app for your Android, iPhone, iPad, or desktop, and sent to a queue for playback.

A company called Leonar3Do showed their new software that offers a truly immersive virtual reality experience in the sense that you are able to see and interact with your virtual objects in real 3D space. Very cool.

We’ve seen a lot of great booths at the show as well. Just a few are shown below.

Of course, we had to leave our mark at CES 2012.

We’ll leave you with a photo of the famous Bellagio ceiling—2,000 dynamic hand-blown glass flowers. Amazing.
