This past week our President, Michael Prince, was interviewed for an article in the New York Times about the Chinese take-out container and its packaging history. At Beyond Design, we are involved in all steps of the product development process—including packaging design. It is important to have an understanding of where and how certain packaging originated and how it is still being implemented today.
“It’s nearly leakproof, it’s disposable, and they’re really inexpensive,” says Michael Prince. “Origami can make a really innovative transport device.”
