CATIA Natural Sketch for a 3D Sketching Experience
At Beyond Design, the creative design process always starts with a sketch, and later moves on to 3D models to explore the design proportions and volumes. I recently came across a video that demonstrates how CATIA V6 (CAD software) allows you to sketch on Cintiq’s (similar to what Beyond Design does on SketchBook Pro), and immediately turn your 2D sketch into a 3D CAD model. It also allows you to sketch in 3D…very impressive!
