BYU Industrial Design Students Visit Beyond Design

February 27, 2012

Last Friday, around 15 students from the BYU (Brigham Young University) Industrial Design program visited our studio for a tour of our building and to check out what we do at Beyond Design. The class makes a trip to a different city every year, but said it had been about five years since they were in Chicago. They were given a presentation that highlighted our capabilities and some key projects we have worked on over the past few years.

It is important for students to step outside of the classroom and visit design studios to get a better idea of what it’s like to work as a designer in the real-world. We hope we were able to provide them with a little more knowledge about the product development process. Thanks to all those who visited! We hope you enjoyed your time in the city!
