Building Games to Inspire Future Female Engineers [GoldieBlox]

GoldieBlox just released an inspiring new video that perfectly demonstrates the company’s mission – empowering young girls to invent the future. Debbie Sterling, a Standford Mechanical Engineering/Product Design graduate, started the company after she had enough of the pink princesses and sparkly ponies seen in the “girl” aisles at stores.
In a world where men largely outnumber women in science, technology, engineering and math…and girls lose interest in these subjects as early as age 8, GoldieBlox is determined to change the equation.
