Anheuser-Busch Donates Water to Storm Victims in Oklahoma and Texas

June 2, 2015

Anheuser-Busch stopped beer production at their brewery in Georgia to focus on producing drinking water for those who were affected by the horrific flooding and storms in Texas and Oklahoma last week. 50,000 cans of water were produced to donate to the American Red Cross to help in relief efforts.

“Right now our production line is running emergency drinking water instead of beer,” Cartersville brewery manager Rob Haas told NBC News.

About 2,000 cases, each carrying 24 cans, are en route to communities in Texas and Oklahoma, expected to reach them by this week.

This is such an unfortunate situation for those who live in Texas and Oklahoma and for those who have shown their support, your efforts have not gone unnoticed. This article can shed light on major corporations that put forth an honest effort to help those who are in critical need. Their production efforts have shifted towards the help of the greater good and we wish everyone the best of luck.
