Addicted to Innovation

Angel Mixer

May 6, 2015

Last month, Beyond Design and Jayne Agency hosted a special event to present trade secrets on how to consistently deliver innovative solutions with dynamic advertising and messaging, while increasing sales and overall profitability to companies at the Beyond Design studio in Chicago. Our home away from home was transformed into a place for those to meet, mingle and chat about product design, advertising and strategies to understand New Product Development (NPD) and the advertising/marketing world. We had guests come from many different companies, such as Inheriting Wisdom, McKnight Kurland, Hu-Friedy, Akoya Capital Partners, and Home Products International, Inc. just to name a few.

Michael Prince, owner of Beyond Design, and Brooke Foley, CEO of Jayne Agency, wanted to fast movers and shakers in the angel investor world to understand the accuracy through product development process and what can be achieved. The event offered insights along with inspiration to help think “out of the box” and to achieve a higher return on investment. With an understanding of ROI, great conversation starters were talked about, including topics such as intellectual property and risk management. The entire night proved to be a huge success and everyone’s presence was greatly appreciated.

A big shout out to Chris Carani and his band for performing at the angel mixer. Beyond Design wants to thank Chris for all of his efforts in making the angel mixer a success with his band, along with everything that he has done for Beyond Design. A partner at Chicago-based intellectual property law firm McAndrews, Held & Malloy, Ltd, Chris is a leading voice on intellectual property law and has been extremely generous to share his thoughts on IP law for us designers at Beyond Design.

Michael Prince, owner of Beyond Design, and Brooke Foley, CEO of Jayne Agency were excited to team up for this networking event and to present their views of how design and strategy provide a high return on investment.

It was great to make new acquaintances, as well as making small talk with others that we knew prior. On behalf of everybody at Beyond Design and Jayne Agency, we want to thank you for coming if you attended, and if you didn’t attend, we are sorry that we missed you. Please be on the look out for more events from us that will be even bigger and better than the first.
