A Tiny Home for Eco-Friendly People
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to travel off the grid in an economically friendly way? Well, now you can. Thanks to a Slovakian architectural studio, Nice Architects, have created and designed a small, modern capsule that allows those who want to get away and travel have the chance to do it.
The Ecocapsule‘s spheric shape allows for optimal collection of rainwater and dew, which the traveler can use with the built-in filtration system for bathroom and kitchen use.
The pod is completely self-sufficient, and even has 600W of solar power. Even if there is a reduced amount of solar or wind activity while traveling, the architectural firm states that the battery in the pod will have enough power to last.
It’s comfortable for two adults – allowing them to enjoy the spacial layout and the convenience of all the household facilities. A built-in kitchenette, toilet and shower are all luxuries that are available in this tiny pod. Currently, only prototypes are available and have been produced. In the last quarter of 2015, Nice Architects will announce prices and start accepting those pre-orders for those who want to go off the grid and enjoy life.
