A Peek into CES 2016
Another year. Another show. CES2016 will be hosted in Las Vegas and showcasing Netflix CEO Reed Hastings for his first keynote speech. Side note: he has the opportunity to take an Uber there too. Those that are visiting the show and those that are speaking can take an Uber or Lyft from the airport directly to the CES show. Las Vegas just approved the companies to start picking up passengers from McCarran Airport. However, drop-offs will be directed to a private car port.
Those drivers will be plenty busy with all the visitors, expecting 150,000 to 170,000 attendees. If over that number, it could be considered a ‘counterproductive’ show. The CES 2016 show will be larger than life than last year’s with more exhibitors, spreading over three main areas – The Las Vegas Convention Center, The Sands Convention Center and the Aria Hotel.Not to mention, Eureka Park, a startup exhibition area will host over 500 exhibitors.
CES 2016 runs from January 6th to January 9th, but pre-festivities will start as early as January 3rd. The show will highlight automotives, virtual reality, Internet of Things, gaming, drones, smart home technology and health and fitness gadgets.
