A Battery That Triples Your Smartphone Use Time

September 5, 2012

“The mobile revolution is fueled by demanding users who are leveraging the ever increasing processing, connectivity and storage capabilities of their smartphones, tablets and ultrabooks to a greater extent with every day passing.”
– Leyden Energy

Today’s mobile users want and expect to be able to access social media, games, apps, the Internet, and have more talk time all day. However, the problem is that nearly all of the batteries on Smartphones won’t make it through a day without being recharged at least once. The increased interaction and longer use on mobile phones only further reduces the battery life.

A company based in California, Leyden Energy, has developed a battery that is higher on energy density, lasts longer, and is more durable than other batteries. Their new battery is said to triple the life cycle on your Smartphone battery. The new chemical composition cuts down on hydrochloric acid which helps the battery last longer. Check out the video below for more information and to see how these batteries are produced.
