3D visualization: A potential driver of new product innovation
We recently read an article on Innovation Tools website, titled 3D visualization: A potential driver for new product innovation, that speaks about how prototyping may change in the years to come. We too are a big believer in the value that 3D animation can bring to the overall design process as a communication tool. Here’s an example of something we’ve done internally, BuzzBrush animation.
Animation is capable of showing exactly what a future product or service will look like and how it will function, much like a prototype will do (minus the physical aspect, of course). While we don’t think physical models will disappear, we do believe animation will continue to become a fundamental tool in product design.
