3-D Manufacturing is taking over Chicago
Within the last 35 years, jobs in the manufacturing industry have dropped more than 40 perfect – due to companies moving production to other countries that offer lower costs. However, in recent years, there has been a reappearance of manufacturing in the United States. Even so, economists think that the U.S will never been a powerhouse in manufacturing like it was in past years. With new technologies rising in different sectors, such as 3-D printing, some say that this will transform the American industry and Chicago is jumping on board.
