2-in-1 Bike Seat & Stroller
The last thing a parent wants to do is lug around a thing after a thing when kids are involved. A simple solution that Swedish designer, Lycke von Schantz, came up with is the Pahoj concept. He transformed the simple bike seat for a child into a stroller when needed. Think about it: how many times would you like to go to the park, the store, or wherever you needed to go but couldn’t bike because of all the things you needed to carry?
The Pahoj concept encourages parents to get out and get a little exercise using a bike in a convenient, easy and healthy way, while providing a great example for their children that exercise and being outside is important. The designer says that biking has always been the natural and most efficient way to get around and his thinking behind this product was to continue that mode of transportation.
For our designers that are parents, they loved the idea of having a 2-in-1 item. The efficiency and convenience of this design makes it popular and also promotes the idea of transportation and exercise. We can’t wait to see how it does on Kickstarter. To read more of the article, please click here.
