Katie Schmiedicker

Industrial Design Intern

Katie is from Cleveland, Ohio and is working towards her BSD in Industrial Design at Ohio State University. She joined Beyond Design as an intern in May 2016. Coming from large research institution, she values the importance of generative design research and hopes to unlock more insights using unique research methods and tools. Passionate about problem solving, Katie strives to create smart ergonomic solutions that balance both functionality and style. When not designing, Katie is learning guitar and working through a list of classic must see movies.
