Earlier this month, Beyond Design checked out the 2023 Discover Boating® Chicago Boat Show®, held at McCormick Place, downtown Chicago. Attendees had the opportunity to compare boat brands, purchase a boat of their own, and learn from the pros. Our team enjoyed checking out some of the industry’s top boats and brands, and we’d like to share some products that stood out.
No. 1 – The FlagGuard™
We made sure to stop by The FlagGuard™ booth, showing off one of Beyond Design’s many products that our team has developed, to spend some time with Erin MacLaughlin, the inventor of The FlagGuard™. This was the perfect product to be featured at the boat show, helping to address the problem of the approximate 4,463 boating accidents each year (US Coast Guard).
With a mission to help prevent accidents, to keep children safe and seen in the water. The FlagGuard™ is a conveniently designed to help boaters see children floating in the water. NO. 2 – Manitou New Generation of Pontoons
Boat brand, Manitou, caught our eye at the show this year, with their shiny, new and modern pontoon collection. With superior design and innovation, the Manitou Explore and Cruise models elevate the on-water experience to whole new level. Manitou pontoon owners have the ability to design their own floor plan to accommodate their personal boating lifestyle. Featuring digital technologies, these new generation pontoon boats make sharp turns, with powerful acceleration, standing out as a superior brand in the boating industry.
NO. 3 – Yahama XTO Offshore Outboard
In the boating industry, when you see Yahama products, you think power, and that is exactly what we thought this year when we walked by their award-winning XTO Offshore. This outboard motor features extreme control, precision, and reliability, setting the bar for power and performance.
