Meric Selzer

Industrial Design Intern

Meric studied Art and Design at Emily Carr Institute in Vancouver and interned with Beyond in the summer of 2008. She then pursued her career in Germany and currently is an experienced Sales Manager at Walter Knoll furniture company. “I am so proud to be a part of Beyond Design. Those days were unforgettable for me. It was such a fun environment to work in! What stands out to me is when Michael told me to stop working on my lunch break. I looked at him surprised. He responded ‘We don´t work in our breaks, better to enjoy life. Go outside and play some games with your colleagues in the garden.’ That was a little detail that shows a lot about the company and culture. Michael gives chances to young people and listens to them. Beyond Design is a family that I will always recommend.”
