Designing for a Brand New Technology

Using BioFi Technology’s proprietary tech, Beyond Design developed a smart device to remotely monitor vital signs without physical contact. This breakthrough utilizes AI and Machine Learning algorithms, enabling precise vital measuring and tracking through solid surfaces up to 6 feet away.

How Flexible Design Overcomes Challenges

Beyond Design played a pivotal role in the industrial design and engineering of the RemWave Sleep product. Our team worked with the client to integrate their PCB to create the custom design. The final configuration was able to accommodate the electronics.

The design process integrated engineering and functional details to overcome a series of challenges to make sure the design enhanced proper operation. The top of the product utilizes a flat surface to maximize signal direction; the legs and air vents deheat the device on carpeted and hard surfaces; and minimal, unintrusive buttons ensure the product is intuitive to operate.
