The Hammerhead
Bikers are all over the city of Chicago and we all know that navigating while riding a bike isn’t easy. A new product will hit the market later this year that will make navigating more convenient and provide a safer route for bikers.
Piet Morgan developed the Hammerhead, a navigation system that points out the way with flashing LED lights, and launched a crowdfunding campaign last September to raise $190,000. The device allows you to choose a route on an accompanying app, and the Hammerhead gives you a signal as you approach intersections. It works for both urban environments and off-road trails.
It will be interesting to see how many bikers invest in the product when it hits the market this year. For more information, please visit Fast Company’s site.
