As we enter into a new year, we’re taking a look back into what awesome products we designed in 2015. Our team at Beyond Design looks forward to a new year and new start to develop, create and design some innovative and timeless designs that will blow our clients and customers away.

Magic Chef Appliances: Magic Chef premiered their small corded appliances, creating an iconic presentation of satin metal and slate black finishes communicating quality, ease of use and a timeless design that would appeal to first time buyers.
Cobra Dash Cam: The CDR835 is the newest and most-user friendly dash cam that Cobra Electronics has come out with. The dash cam has a two-inch LCD screen, ultra-wide 160° viewing angle and a sensor that saves and protects clips if an impact is detected. We teamed up with Cobra to deliver them a camera that allows drivers to feel safe on the road, relive their drive and share footage that they captured, all in a day’s worth of recording.
Create-a-Maze: Wanting to create a game that targeted critical thinking and problem solving, Learning Resources® came to Beyond Design to help develop and brainstorm new game ideas that incorporated creativity and design to their vision. The Create-A-Maze game is an open-ended, critical thinking maze game that instantly attracts children. The very distinct appearance with multiple colored maze pieces were fun to create, however having a large play surface base was challenging and difficult for manufacturing purposes.
EQ Series: The EQ generation line of faucets from Chicago Faucets deliver a sleek, simple and modern design. The product itself is relatively lightweight than most faucets, while being extremely easy to install and operate for the common user. The smart outlet integrates an electronics module, sensing eye and aerator for a clean look and dependable operation.
Vinturi Wine Tools: Vinturi Wine Tools have been designed to allow users to open up wine bottles, for on the go or at home. The easy to use motions, depending on which wine opener a user chooses provides a sleek, classy look, along with simple functionality. With just a few simple motions, a wine bottle can be opened in just a matter of seconds. The hand control is convenient, so there’s no slipping or having the bottle move around. The chrome plated cast metals give these wine tools an aesthetically pleasing design, making them fit into any style of kitchen decor.
CXT545 Walkie-Talkies: The Cobra CXT545 walkie talkie represents the enhanced functions that we designed come to life – validated through user research and testing. These signature elements help to standardize physical, visual, and emotional attributes of Cobra’s current and future product portfolio.
ConnectSense: The ConnectSense Smart Outlet was designed to be simple and convenient to install into any room. With a single plug-in device, configuring and controlling is self-explanatory when putting together. Moreover, the USB charging port supports speedy charging capabilities for the iPhone6, iPhone6+ and iPads, freeing up outlets and eliminating multiple chargers and cords that could get tangled everywhere.
